نفى أحمد يحيى، وكيل أحمد فتوح ظهير أيسر الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي الزمالك، ما تردد في وقت سابق، بشأن تأخر توقيع اللاعب للقلعة البيضاء، بسبب تصميمه على الحصول على منحة تعاقد كبيرة.
وكانت الأيام الماضية قد شهدت أزمة كبيرة بين فتوح وإدارة نادي الزمالك، سواء المؤقتة أو المجلس الحالي برئاسة حسين لبيب.
وأعلن نادي الزمالك عن تجديد اللاعب على لسان المتحدث الرسمي لمجلس الإدارة، أحمد سالم، الذي أعلن عن القرار عبر قناة ناديه.
وقال أحمد يحيى في تصريحات عبر برنامج “ملعب أون تايم”، على قناة “أون تايم سبورت”: “المفاوضات كانت صعبة مع إدارة الزمالك، أحمد لاعب كبير، وطبيعي المفاوضات تأخذ وقت طويل”.

وعن ما تردد بشأن تصميم فتوح على الحصول على منحة تعاقد، قال: “لا هذا لم يحدث، كل ما كان يتردد تكهنات وتوقعات، المهم إننا وصلنا لاتفاق يُرضي جميع الأطراف واللاعب سعيد، ولم يحصل على منحة تعاقد”.
وبسؤاله، هل تواصل معك النادي الأهلي من أجل ضم فتوح؟، أجاب وكيله: “لا إطلاقًا، ولم يتواصلوا مع اللاعب نفسه”.
وأضاف: “بالنسبة لمحمد صبحي سنبدأ في المفاوضات مع الزمالك قريبًا، الحارس عنده نية التجديد للقلعة البيضاء”.
واختتم: “عندما يعود لاعبو الأهلي من الإمارات، سنجلس ونرى موقف أحمد عبد القادر، والرحيل بالنسبة له أفضل لأنه يريد أن يلعب”.

According to talkSPORT, Chelsea have “no plans” to get rid of Colwill during the upcoming window on either a loan or permanent basis. Man City are once again name-checked in the report as an admirer having been linked with a move, but it’s stated that Frank Lampard’s side view their youth graduate as a “key player for the future”. Man City will have suffered a blow after hearing that Colwill isn’t likely to be available in the summer, but Guardiola and the hierarchy should definitely still test the waters to see if Chelsea’s mind could be changed should the right offer be put on the table.

The future of the Nigerian rising star is a big talking point at the moment, with a number of top clubs eyeing up a move for him at the end of the season. He is enjoying a superb season for Napoli, playing a huge part in their imminent Serie A title triumph – their first since way back in 1990.
Osimhen has scored 21 goals in just 23 league starts in 2022/23, not to mention netting five times in the Champions League, and his absence through injury against AC Milan in the quarter-final first leg arguably cost his side dearly as they eventually bowed out of the competition.
Chelsea are one of the teams who have been most regularly linked with a summer move for Osimhen, with the Blues badly in need of an out-and-out striker this summer. Now, a concerning update has emerged from their perspective, however, as their chances of signing the 24-year-old look to have taken a hit.

Will Chelsea sign Osimhen?
According to Football Insider reporter Pete O'Rourke, sharing news from his sources at the club, Chelsea are "shrinking in confidence" when it comes to their hopes of bringing in Osimhen in the summer transfer window. While the Blues plan on snapping up a "marquee striker to lead the line" between now and the beginning of next season, "Napoli have placed a price tag of over £100million on their star forward, and Chelsea’s financial issues have made a deal extremely difficult to complete".
In order to be able to afford the 23-cap Nigeria international, the club would need to make a number of sales this summer, with the move now looking increasingly unlikely to come to fruition.
This is an undoubted blow for Chelsea, with Osimhen someone who would be absolutely perfect for them, having been lauded as "phenomenal" by Walter Mazzarri in the past, scoring 54 goals in just 94 appearances for Napoli. He has even been compared to Blues legend Didier Drogba, in terms of style, so his physical nature could be perfect for the Premier League.
It looks as though they may have to look at other targets, though, and given Osimhen's potential as a player, he really could end up proving to be one that got away, should Chelsea fail to snap him up in the summer window.

However, as has been the case with first-team recruitment in recent years, the club have not always made the best decisions on youth team players.

After leaving Everton, Cho worked his way into the first-team at Angers and made 55 senior appearances, scoring four goals and providing one assist, in two seasons with the Ligue 1 outfit.
His form for the French side earned him a move to Spanish team Real Sociedad in the summer of 2022 for a fee said to be worth up to €15m (£13.2m).

Cho has started four games in LaLiga this season and registered two assists whilst creating four 'big chances' for his teammates, although he is yet to land his first goal in the division.
The 19-year-old also ranks among the top 3% of players in his position in Europe's top five leagues over the last 365 days for progressive carries, successful take-ons, and assists per 90.
This shows that the talented youngster is excellent at bringing the ball up the pitch and taking opposition defenders on, leading to him creating chances for others to score.
Gordon, meanwhile, is three years older than the ex-England U16 international and does not rank higher than the top 55% in any of the aforementioned statistics in the same timeframe.
Cho, who was lauded as "intelligent" and "cultured" by ex-boss Gerald Baticle, could have burst onto the scene at Goodison Park in their first-team if Brands had managed to keep hold of the gem on professional terms, and potentially earned them a big payday as Gordon did in January.
His soaring market value is a reflection of his potential and the form he has shown at senior level in the Spanish top-flight, which illustrates the mare that the ex-Everton chief had in failing to keep him in England.

Sam Allardyce may consider dropping Patrick Bamford in favour of Rodrigo for Leeds United's next match, journalist Phil Hay has hinted.
What's going on with Leeds?
The club appointed Allardyce in a last-gasp gamble to help survive the threat of relegation, and with just three games left, Leeds have a mountain to climb.
There was some improvement in Allardyce's first game in charge as they lost 2-1 away at league leaders Manchester City, and Rodrigo pulled a goal back off the bench in the defeat.
Speaking on The Athletic Football Podcast, Hay claimed that Allardyce may strongly consider starting Rodrigo ahead of Bamford for Leeds' next game, as they host Newcastle at Elland Road.
"Defensively you could see what he was trying to do," he stated of Allardyce.
"There was a big, big gap between the line of four or five and then Bamford further forward, and it was a really difficult afternoon for Bamford, and I do think as it stands, the option of playing Rodrigo just seems to be screaming at Allardyce I think."
The biggest issue for Leeds under Javi Gracia was the defence, which conceded a record 23 goals in the month of April prior to his sacking, and if Allardyce can tighten it up in these few games and secure some points, Leeds still have a chance of survival.
However, Everton's shock victory at Brighton and Nottingham Forest's win against Southampton have put further pressure on the Whites against a strong Newcastle side who are fighting for Europe.
Bamford has been disappointing this season, scoring just four times in 26 league appearances, and his display at the Etihad will not have filled anyone with confidence that he is suitable to save Leeds from relegation.
Rodrigo's strike at City was his 12th in the league this season, and given that his form in front of goal is better than Bamford's, there is a strong case to be made that he should replace the £70k-per-week star as a striker.
Bamford lost possession 10 times and failed to register a shot on target before being withdrawn in the 80th minute, and he won none of his five attempted ground duels as per SofaScore, highlighting how ineffective his display was at both holding the ball up and providing a goal threat.
It is a huge decision for Allardyce to make, and he has little time to be patient with underperforming players when results are needed instantly.
