What’s the talk?

Journalist Jonathan Shrager has claimed that the Magpies are not in talks over a deal for the Welsh international this month.

He Tweeted: “I am told that there are currently no conversations between Newcastle United and Aaron Ramsey’s representatives regarding a possible January transfer.”

This comes after Italian outlet Calcio Mercato claimed that the two sides were discussing a move for the former Arsenal man, with Shrager pouring cold water on that particular fire.

Deflation

This update will surely deflate Newcastle fans who may have been excited at the prospect of the Welshman arriving at St. James’ Park this month.

The midfielder is vastly experienced in the top-flight. Ramsey managed 65 goals and 65 assists in 371 matches for Arsenal, having made 262 Premier League appearances for the Gunners. This shows that he knows what it takes to perform in the English top-flight.

He has played 49 Serie A games for Juventus, scoring five goals and providing six assists for the Italian giants, showing that he has been able to make a positive contribution on the pitch in Italy as well as England at the top level.

Arsenal legend Martin Keown once lauded his talents, saying: “Playing in a deeper role, as he did under Arsene Wenger – I think that’s the best role for him. If you want Ozil and him in the same team. He’s so important to everything they do. It’s the energy – the box-to-box energy. He’s become an outstanding technician.”

Therefore, he could have been an excellent addition to Eddie Howe’s squad. He has proven his ability for Juventus and Arsenal and would have come in to provide a big lift to the Magpies in their battle against relegation, with his experience helping those around him and his goals and assists potentially winning vital points for the side.

This is why fans will be deflated and frustrated with the news that the club are not in talks over a deal for him. Although, the transfer window only opened this week and Howe has plenty of time to pursue a move for the midfielder – providing another team does not snap him up – and, based on his statistics, Newcastle should do just that.

Após dois meses de contrato com o Cruzeiro, finalmente o lateral-direito Rafael Galhardo vai estrear com a camisa celeste. Sem Ezequiel, que teve cirurgia para reparar uma hérnia inguinal antecipada para esta quinta-feira, o técnico Mano Menezes optou por escalar Galhardo no time titular que enfrenta o Avaí nesta quarta-feira, às 19h30, no Mineirão.

A última equipe que o lateral defendeu antes de chegar à Belo Horizonte foi o Atlético-PR. Entretanto, o jogador entrou em campo apenas sete vezes pelo Furacão e rescindiu contrato depois de romper os ligamentos do joelho direito durante o período de férias. Após passar por uma cirurgia de reconstrução no local, o jogador voltou ao Flamengo, onde foi campeão brasileiro em 2009 para iniciar a fisioterapia.

Galhardo também tem passagens por Santos, Bahia, Grêmio, Anderlecht (BEL). Anunciado pelo Cruzeiro no dia 22 de julho, o jogador passou por um processo de recuperação na Toca II e só assinou com o clube em 31 de agosto. Seu vínculo com a Raposa vai até 31 de dezembro e ele precisará mostrar serviço nos últimos quatro jogos do Campeonato Brasileiro para convencer os dirigentes de que deve permanecer na equipe.

– Ainda não chegaram a conversar (com ele, Galhardo, que é dono dos seus direitos). Até porque preciso mostrar meu futebol. Não adianta eu estar treinando bem. Jogadores provam no jogo mesmo. Meu contrato vai até o dia 31 de dezembro. Então, eles têm tempo para decidir se vão querer ficar comigo ou não. E, para isso, eu preciso mostrar meu futebol. O jogador ainda falou sobre o desejo de voltar aos gramados oficialmente após nove meses e garantiu que dará o seu máximo nestes últimos confrontos para conquistar o técnico Mano Menezes e garantir sua permanência no Cruzeiro em 2018.

– Muito feliz de ter a chance de voltar a jogar, depois de nove meses da cirurgia. Ter a oportunidade de jogar com a camisa do Cruzeiro é um motivo de muita alegria, muita felicidade, de ansiedade. Nesse tempo em que a gente fica parado, muita coisa ruim acontece, as dúvidas… Graças a Deus, esse tempo ruim passou. Agora, é pensar para frente. O professor (Mano Menezes) tinha conversado comigo que eu poderia atuar, mais ou menos, 70 minutos. Acredito que possa ser isso ou para menos ou para mais. Vou no meu máximo, vou no meu limite. Até quando eu aguentar – disse entusiasmado.

Com contrato válido até o dia 31 de dezembro, Rafael Galhardo entende que a partida desta noite será um recomeço independentemente de uma provável renovação ou se o clube optar por liberá-lo para assinar com uma outra equipe.

– Acredito que tenho que fazer um bom trabalho, representar bem o clube. Não penso no futuro, tenho que pensar jogo a jogo. Penso no jogo de amanhã (quarta-feira), em fazer uma boa estreia, uma boa partida. Isso será consequência para os próximos anos – finalizou.

South Africa coach Mickey Arthur is confident Dale Steyn will be fit to resume his new-ball duties in the second Test at Durban. وجاء ذلك بناء على الدعوة الموجهة من ناصر الشاذلي رئيس النادي الأولمبي لمناقشة قرار الأندية بطلب عقد جمعية عمومية غير عادية لرفض قرار مجلس إدارة اتحاد كرة القدم بإقرار نظام دوري المحترفين للقسم الثاني وتغيير شكل المسابقات بما يخالف نص لائحة النظام الأساسي.

وبناء على الاجتماع الذي عقد بمقر اتحاد كرة القدم يوم 10 يوليو 2023 بحضور 38 نادياً وحضور خالد الدرندلي نائب رئيس اتحاد الكرة والسادة أعضاء مجلس الإدارة والمستشار محمد الماشطا المستشار القانوني لاتحاد كرة القدم، تم الاتفاق على تأجيل دوري المحترفين وعدم تطبيقه في الموسم القادم على أن يتم تقديم مقترحين ليتم عرضهما على مجلس إدارة اتحاد الكرة لاتخاذ القرار رسمياً.

وقررت الأندية تحديد يوم الثلاثاء 1 أغسطس 2023 لإقامة الجمعية العمومية غير العادية بمقر اتحاد كرة القدم بالجزيرة بناء على نص المادة 33 من لائحة النظام الأساسي لاتحاد الكرة بعد عدم دعوة اتحاد الكرة للجمعية العمومية للانعقاد وتجاهل طلب 50 نادياً يوم 21 يونيو الماضي 2023 على أن يتم تفويض النائب طارق السعيد رئيس نادي الترسانة لتوجيه الدعوة والإعلان بأحد الجرائد القومية على أن يتم إخطار اللجنة الأولمبية المصرية والاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم “فيفا” بكافة الإجراءات القانونية التي يتم اتخاذها.

وتؤكد الأندية الحاضرة للاجتماع اليوم بنادي الأولمبي أنه تم اتخاذ كافة الإجراءات القانونية والتجهيز لعقد جمعية عمومية غير عادية انتظارا لقرار مجلس إدارة اتحاد الكرة المقرر أن يعقد خلال الساعات القادمة لإعلان القرار الرسمي بناء على الاتفاق الذي تم في اجتماع يوم 10 يوليو بمقر اتحاد كرة القدم.

وتؤكد الأندية أن موقفها الرافض لدوري المحترفين للقسم الثاني لم يكن وليد اللحظة وإنما مثبت قبل انطلاق الموسم بالاجتماع الذي عقد بنادي بلدية المحلة يوم 28 يوليو 2022 والاجتماع الذي عقد بنادي المنصورة يوم 20 أغسطس 2022 والاجتماع الذي عقد يوم 2 سبتمبر 2022 بنادي النصر والاجتماع الذي عقد يوم 14 سبتمبر 2022 بأحد فنادق القاهرة ثم طلبات عقد جمعية عمومية غير عادية يوم 15 سبتمبر 2022 من أكثر من 20 نادي لرفض قرار تطبيق النظام الجديد.

بناء على ما سبق، تؤكد الأندية أعضاء الجمعية العمومية لاتحاد كرة القدم أنها تتمسك بالحق القانوني في عرض المقترح على الجمعية العمومية والتصويت عليه وفقا لما ينص عليه الدستور المصري وقانون الرياضة ولائحة النظام الأساسي لاتحاد كرة القدم.

وقررت الأندية تشكيل لجنة قانونية للدعوة للجمعية العمومية مكونة من النائب طارق السعيد المستشار جمال عويس الدكتور حمدي مرزوق ، وتشكيل لجنة لعمل تصور لشكل الدوري للموسم القادم من المهندس الخضر إبراهيم والأستاذ أحمد جوهر والعمدة عدلي رسلان والأستاذ أشرف سعد والكابتن ناصر الشاذلي والأستاذ محمد نافع والعميد محمد بسيوني وضم الأندية التي ترغب في المشاركة في وضع التصور وقررت الأندية تعيين الأستاذ أحمد الأحمر متحدث رسمي بإسم الأندية أعضاء الجمعية العمومية.
