وحذف حارس جزر القمر التغريدة إثر تعرضه لهجوم شديد من جانب بعض الجماهير الكاميرونية، ونشر بعدها تدوينة أخرى أعلن فيها دعمه لفريقه، قائلًا: “مهما حدث مع ضربة البداية سيكون شيئًا تاريخيًا”.

وتقام مباراة جزر القمر الذي سيلعب بدون حارس مرمى أمام الكاميرون اليوم الإثنين في تمام الساعة التاسعة مساءً بتوقيت القاهرة.

Peterborough United director of football Barry Fry has revealed that former Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder wanted to sign three players in the January transfer window in an exclusive interview with Football FanCast.

It was announced at the beginning of March that Wilder was set to leave the club, with the team currently rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table.

The Blades have taken just 14 points from their 29 games, and are currently 14 points away from safety with just nine games of the season to go.

Wilder spent five years during his time at Bramall Lane and is now on the lookout for a new job.

He oversaw a major investment in the summer transfer window, bringing in the likes of Rhian Brewster from Liverpool, Aaron Ramsdale from AFC Bournemouth, and Oliver Burke from West Bromwich Albion.

In total, Sheffield United spent £56.4m, per Transfermarkt, but they kept their powder dry in the January window.

And Fry has now revealed that he is aware that Wilder asked to sign two players in the January window, but was overruled by the ownership, having previously offered to resign before the window opened.

Fry told FFC: “(He’s) a Sheffield United supporter, there came a time, I think in December, that he felt that that no matter what he did, he couldn’t keep this group up. I think he felt to be fair to the fans, to the club he loves, he’d offer to resign.

“Also in December, and early January, I’ve been told that he requested three players, you know, in the window, and the board refused to back him on any, which is fair enough, because they’re going to get relegated, and they’ve got no income coming in.”

Fry also believes that the ownership were right to reject Wilder’s request, as they simply did not have the resources required to bring in any new additions, with relegation seemingly certain.

He added: “As owner of a football club, if I’ve not got it, I can’t give it to you. I think Chris Wilder would have accepted that and got on with the job.”

Speaking exclusively to Football FanCast, former Aston Villa midfielder Lee Hendrie has expressed his disappointment over Louie Barry’s lack of appearances at Villa Park this season.

Barry, who joined Villa last year after spending time in the youth ranks of Barcelona and West Brom, made his senior debut for the Villans against Liverpool in the Third Round of the FA Cup and did not disappoint.

The 17-year-old, part of a very young Villa team on the day, scored a well-taken goal as he kept his composure when through on goal. It ensured that the Midlands club went into half-time level after going 1-0 down to Jurgen Klopp’s side, and was a moment that showed Barry’s incredible potential.

Since then, however, the attacker has not been given any more opportunities, something that has left Hendrie feeling frustrated. The ex-Villa player told FFC:

“I’m really disappointed that he hasn’t featured, not even really on the bench since that Liverpool game with the fabulous goal that he scored. He reminds me of a young Michael Owen in the fact that he’s very slight, small, but he’s very quick, and I’m surprised that he hasn’t been given a bit more of a chance since that game.”

Elaborating further on that Michael Owen comparison, Hendrie added:

“Michael Owen wasn’t very big and he wasn’t very strong, but because of his pace, you know, he was hard to deal with and I feel that’s similar with Louie Barry. I just feel that he should now be getting into the first-team squad, being on the bench and getting thrown on for the last 20 minutes, relieving a bit of pressure, just because he’s got that pace that he can burn off.”

If his display against Liverpool was anything to go by, then Barry definitely looks like he could offer something to this Villa side, especially in this moment of time.

As melhores oportunidades ao longo dos 45 minutos iniciais partiram de Luiz Adriano, aos seis minutos, quando tentou de calcanhar, apesar de ter pego fraco na bola, aos 13, com Gabriel Veron, que acabou travado na tentativa, e já nos acréscimos, quando Patrick de Paula tentou forte, com a bola passando perto do gol defendido por Kewin.

A emoção que faltou no primeiro tempo apareceu com tudo logo na volta para a etapa final. Aos dois minutos, Zé Rafael passou pela marcação com facilidade e mandou com perigo. Felipe Melo teve a chance de abrir o marcador aos dez, de cabeça. Mas foi o Mirassol, aos 14 minutos, que tirou o primeiro zero do placar. Gustavo Gómez chegou atrasado e Rafael Silva conseguiu receber de Maranhão para estufar as redes do goleiro Weverton. Mirassol 1 a 0.

COM MUITA EMOÇÃO!
Atrás do marcador, o Palmeiras acordou e passou a ser efetivo. Tanto que precisou de somente oito minutos para fazer três gols, virando o marcador e garantindo a vitória, justa, por 3 a 1. O empate saiu aos 23 com Gustavo Gómez, aproveitando cruzamento de Gabriel Menino. A virada saiu aos 28 com Raphael Veiga, em excelente lance de Bruno Henrique. E a confirmação dos três pontos apareceu aos 31, com Luiz Adriano, após receber de Gabriel Veron. Grande segundo tempo, com muita emoção, compensando completamente os 45 minutos iniciais aquém do esperado.

Fans of Wolverhampton Wanderers have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which Tim Spiers shared an article of his concerning Wolves centre-forward, Willian Jose.

In his article for The Athletic, Spiers discussed the fact that, since joining Wolves from Real Sociedad on a five-month loan deal back in January, the 29-year-old has now played 11 hours of football for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side without finding the net once, taking a total of 10 shots and having 19 touches in the opposition box to no avail.

The journalist goes on to claim that the chances of Wolves making the Brazilian’s loan deal an £18 million permanent move this summer – with the club having the option to buy the striker at this figure – appear to be increasingly slim.

And, after Spiers relayed his report on Twitter, fans of Wolves flocked to have their say on the matter, with many stating their belief that the £34,000 per week forward is simply not good enough for Premier League football.

حلل المدير الفني تشافي هيرنانديز فوز فريقه برشلونة على ليناريس، والذي سمح لهم بالتقدم في كأس الملك والتأهل إلى دور الـ16، وعلّق على مصير عثمان ديمبلي.

كان مدرب برشلونة راضيًا جدًا عن النتيجة النهائية في المباراة التي بدأوا فيها الخسارة، ونجحوا في العودة والفوز (2-1) بهدفي ديمبلي وجوتيجلا.

وقال تشافي في تصريحات نشرتها صحيفة “سبورت” الإسبانية: “إنه فوز مهم يعني التأهل إلى الدور الثاني، في الشوط الثاني كنا أفضل، كان من الصعب علينا أن نجد التفوق في وسط الملعب ومن الصعب علينا أن نجتاز التمريرة الأخيرة، وهذا هو المكان الذي يجب أن تظهر فيه الموهبة”.
